So, one particular method I am going to talk about is article marketing and I am sure you will have seen plenty of mixed messages about this method but it is one that I like to use and works well with low competition niches in the search engines. Now the way I like to go about my article marketing is to head over to the Google keyword tool and search for low competition keywords with around 1,000 searches or more a month with less than 300,00 competing websites. This is classed as a backlink, the more relevant quality backlinks you have, the better you will see your rankings although I am sure there are a lot of people out there who would criticize this and say I am talking a load of rubbish but I am just going on what I have learned my self and what has worked for me.

To give you an example, I set up a wordpress blog and this is free by the way, (I did not pay for anything at all) about Xmas jumpers. Now the keyword I was targeting has 1,300 searches a month according to the Google keyword tool and all I did was write 3 posts and submit around 8 articles (maybe a few more) and I still have a top then rank and you can see my blog in the 10^th spot on Google so for me this method works well.

The article directories I use approve you more or less straight away and all I did was once the article was accepted, I used pingomatic to let the search engines know there was new content available and to go and check it out.

I have also used this method with two cb niche builder sites I created a while back so if you write relevant content and something that is not just a load of old spun out PLR article crap, you can get valuable backlinks to your websites.

The cb niche builder is a windows based software that runs from the desktop of your computer which allows you to find a profitable niche from the clickbank database, you can then create websites or pages based on the product(s) you find and you are paid a commission when someone makes a purchase through your affiliate link.

One of the advantages of promoting affiliate products is that someone has already taken the time to find a market, create a product for that market which leaves you to create your promotions based on that product and more profit as you do not have to pay for product or website creation.

One thing to remember is that just because you have found a clickbank product that has a great website and great sales letter content, it may not be a very good product to promote so it may be worth doing a quick Google search to see if there is any bad feedback before you build your cb niche builder pages.
